Where SkillXcelerate Began
SkillXcelerate was born from a simple but urgent observation: too many young people in India were completing degrees and diplomas without the practical skills that employers actually needed. Classrooms were teaching theory while the market was asking for execution. The gap between education and employment was not a minor inconvenience — it was the defining obstacle in millions of careers.
We built SkillXcelerate to close that gap. Starting in Jamia Nagar, New Delhi, we designed courses around one question: what does a student need to actually know, do, and demonstrate to get hired, get clients, or build a business? Every module, every session, and every assessment is built backwards from that answer.
Operated by Edhence Education Services Pvt. Ltd., SkillXcelerate has grown into a trusted skill-development platform serving students, homemakers, working professionals, and entrepreneurs across Delhi NCR and online. Our 14 courses span AI & Technology, E-Commerce, Creative Media, Personal Development, and Robotics — chosen because these are the fields where skilled people are most in demand and most underserved by traditional education.

Dr. Nehal Ahmad is a recipient of six international awards and recognitions, and one of the most accomplished young academics in the field of Machine Learning and Computer Engineering in India today. Currently serving as a Visvesvaraya Post-Doctoral Fellow under the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India, and based at the Department of Computer Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University, Dr. Ahmad brings a rare combination of world-class research credentials and genuine passion for teaching to SkillXcelerate.
Dr. Ahmad completed his undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia, Central University, New Delhi in 2016. He went on to earn his M.S. degree (Gold Medalist, First Rank in Department) in Machine Learning from the National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan in 2020 — graduating with an Award of Excellence and a $1,000 honorarium, supported by the Ministry of Education Fellowship, Government of Taiwan. He completed his Ph.D. in Machine Learning from the same institution in 2023.
His research has been published in some of the world's most prestigious journals — including IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics (Impact Factor 7.021), Information Fusion (IF 18.6), and Pattern Recognition (IF 8.518). He was awarded the Best Paper Award at ICONIP-2022, a CORE-ranked 'A' international conference. He also serves as a reviewer for leading journals including Pattern Recognition (Elsevier, Q1), Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (Elsevier, Q1), and IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics.
Prior to his current role, Dr. Ahmad served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. His expertise spans Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Optimization, and Web Mining — and he brings this depth of knowledge directly into the way he designs and delivers learning experiences at SkillXcelerate.
