Do I need a technical background?
None at all. The programme is designed specifically for non-technical graduates — BA, MA, BBA, BCom, and similar streams. There is zero coding in this curriculum. If you can use a web browser, you're ready.
Will I need to buy any software or subscriptions?
No. Every AI tool in the curriculum — ChatGPT, Claude.ai, Canva AI, Copilot, Gamma.app, and more — is accessible on a free tier via browser or mobile. No installations, no purchases required.
How is the programme assessed?
No written exams or coding tests. Assessment is split: weekly reflection journal (20%), four practical lab assignments (30%), peer critique (10%), ethics tribunal (10%), and a final capstone project with a 5-minute pitch (30%).
What do I receive at the end?
Students who complete the programme (75%+ attendance, 50%+ aggregate score) receive a SkillXcelerate Certificate of Completion in AI Literacy, endorsed by participating institutions. The capstone project can be shared on LinkedIn.
How many hours per week is the commitment?
7.5 hours per week — either 3 sessions × 2.5 hours or 2 sessions × 3.75 hours, giving institutions flexibility to fit it around existing college timetables.
